This session provides a snapshot of the work done in the DMTF including the Open Cloud Standards Incubator, the new Cloud Management Working Group and work with its alliance partners as it relates to cloud computing management of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS). The goal of the DMTF cloud standards are to improve cloud consumer agility by defining a set of architectural semantics that unify the interoperable management of workloads and resources between enterprises and cloud computing infrastructures. This session summarizes the core use cases, and the reference architectures which are the basis for open cloud provider interfaces, and common data models. It will also cover the DMTF Open Virtualization Format (OVF) which is a key building blocks for cloud computing management interoperability.

SNIA Cloud Storage Initiative (CSI) and Cloud Technical Work Group (TWG) are responsible to develop the Cloud marketplace for data storage services through industry standards, education, alliances, and interoperability programs. SNIA Cloud TWG has developed the first cloud standard, Cloud Data Management Interface (CDMI). CDMI is an industry standard on it's way to ANSI and ISO ratification. There is now an open source reference implementation available from SNIA as well. Storage vendors and Cloud providers have started their implementations of the CDMI standard, demonstrating the reality of interoperable cloud storage. This presentation will help you understand how to keep from getting locked into any given vendor by using the CDMI standard. Real world examples will help you understand how to apply CDMI to your own cloud requirements, whether they be a private cloud, a hybrid cloud, or though public clouds.
電子行政、医療などのミッションクリティカルな分野にもクラウドシステムによるサービスを適用するためには、ネットワークも含めたエンドエンドでのサービス品質保証、コンプライアンス/ガバナンス等も含めた信頼性要求、さらには省電力要求に応えていく必要がある。
１つのクラウドシステム（シングルクラウド）によりサービスが提供されている状況で、クラウドシステムへの想定外の過負荷や自然災害などによる大規模な障害発生等により、予備のリソース（サーバやDBなど）の補填が必要となった場合に、シングルクラウドが保有する利用可能な予備リソースには限りがあることから、安定的なサービス継続に限界が出ることが考えられる。そのような場合にもサービスの可用性や性能などの品質保証の要求に応えるためには、ブロードバンドネットワークで結ばれた他のクラウドシステム間との連携（インタークラウド）により、リソースを相互に融通しあう仕組みが必要になると考えられる。
そのためには、現状各事業者が独自仕様で構築しつつあるクラウドシステムについて、システム間の連携インタフェースなどのオープン化を行うことにより、クラウドシステム間の連携を進め、より高信頼、高品質なクラウドサービス提供を実現することが不可欠である。
本講演では、複数のクラウドシステム間を連携するインタークラウドのユースケースと、求められる機能や連携インタフェースに対する要件について概説する。

Winston Bumpus氏 略歴
Winston Bumpus, Director of Standards Architecture at VMware, has had over 40 years of experience in the computer industry. He is currently the President of the DMTF. He has chaired activities in other standards organizations including, OASIS, and The Open Group.
Prior to VMware he was Director of Systems Management Architecture at Dell and he was also Director of Open Technologies at Novell, Inc. He is co-author of the books "Common Information Model" and "The Foundations of Application Management." He has participated in the DMTF for over 15 years and worked on its early development of the Common Information Model (CIM) and Web Based Enterprise Management (WBEM) standards and founded and chaired its Application Management Working Group.
Wayne Adams氏 略歴
Wayne M. Adams is the Chairman for the Board of Director and has served on the SNIA Board of Directors since 2003. Wayne is involved with SNIA strategic standards including Green Data Storage, Data Storage as a Cloud Service, digital archiving, storage management, and cross-industry alliances. He also serves on the DMTF Board of Directors and is the Senior VP of the Board. Wayne works for EMC Corporation as a Senior Technologist and Director of Standards within the Office of the CTO.
Prior to EMC, Wayne held technical positions at Digital Equipment Corporation and Eastman Kodak.
Wayne holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a dual major in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Pittsburgh.
Mark Carlson氏 略歴
Mark A. Carlson, Principal Cloud Strategist at Oracle, has more than 30 years of experience with Networking and Storage development and more than fifteen year's experience with Java technology. He has spoken at numerous industry forums and events. He is the chair of the SNIA Cloud Storage, NDMP and XAM SDK technical working groups, chairs the DMTF Policy working group, serves on the SNIA Technical Council, and represents Oracle on the DMTF Technical Committee and serves as DMTF VP of Alliances.
後藤 厚宏氏 略歴
NTTサイバースペース研究所所長。1984年東京大学大学院情報工学博士課程修了。工学博士。同年日本電信電話公社(現NTT)入社。2010年より現職。
分散処理技術、インターネット関連技術の研究開発と事業化に従事、米国研究所設立。
第五世代コンピュータプロジェクトにて並列推論マシンの研究開発に従事。
SAINT組織委員、JSPP実行委員、SACSIS組織委員長。情報処理学会フェロー。
